Buck cleared but still game time decision as Jets get set to host game 3 Saturday

The Strathroy Jets look to potentially advance out of their Metropolitan Conference South Division Semi-final with two more wins this weekend in their series versus the Stratford Irish. Currently the Jets lead the best of seven series 2-0 and will host Game three tomorrow afternoon at the Gemini before heading to Stratford Sunday for a game four matinee.

The biggest story remains the status of Jets forward Brandon Buck who left game 1 last weekend and hasn't seen any action in the series since.

Jets Head Coach Jacques Beaulieu was asked about the status of the team's second leading scorer.

"Brandon has been evaluated and cleared to play. It will be a game time decision for him and his family to make tomorrow. First and foremost, it's about Brandon's health. We welcome him with open arms if he decides to play. Brandon has been a big part of our success."

Brandon Prust and Rob Schremp lead Strathroy in playoff points with three countered by Stratford's Cole Thiessen who also has compiled three points in the series for the Irish.

Game 3 Saturday 5:30pm from Gemini

Game 4 Sunday 3:30pm in Stratford.
